Hey! I have known this blog for quite a while now, and one of the posts made me curious: How many people take care of this blog? Are you all females?
I really like the Mai/Zuko love, and this blog truly lives up to it!
Obs.: I really can't see any sense in Zuko/Katara. Just can't understand how so many people worship a relationship that was never suggested or even meant to happen. Just my opinion... I felt like a blog to Mai and Zuko was the right place to express it:)

As for Zuko and Katara, yeah, can’t see any sense to it at all. I can’t. I just can’t. As far as friendship goes, I am all down for that. It developed well and was executed nicely during the finale but romance? Oh jeez, no way. Their whole characters would have had to be rewritten completely from scratch for that to happen. And not to mention, Aang. Aang. Also Zuko and Katara are actually more alike than what people like to think. Their elements are only one of the few things they are opposite of, but they are both easily stubborn. Also “Southern Raiders” confirmed my initial thoughts about them. Zuko kept on feeding off of her rage and revenge, and man, that was just not good. Good ol’ Aang was the voice in her head telling her the way to go and it was just so blatant that, hey, lookie, there’s the real couple!
I won’t even begin with Mai. I think it’s obvious that she is, ultimately, the best choice for such a fiery and raging Zuko. And their affection, passion, ahhh, so great.
Haha IDK I just ended up ranting. But thanks for your views on things! We really appreciate it! We like seeing what the followers think about certain things. :)
I also heard there is a pedophile in this show.
Hahaha oh man, who are you referring to, Aang or Katara? I’ve heard both on occasion back a few years when I used to tread immensely in the Avatar Fandom.

With all the new hype about Zutara Week, I started wondering about Maiko Week. I thought that maybe I’d missed it, but I guess that the last one was in 2010. I’ve decided to take it upon myself to organize one on tumblr, since I don’t have an active Deviantart account. If someone is interested in taking it there, please let me know so we can work together on it :)
My co-host and I are currently brainstorming ideas for themes, but please feel free to submit via my ask box. It would also be appreciated if Avatar-themed blogs (even ones that don’t ship Maiko) could reblog this so we can get as many participants as possible!
